๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด โ€“ 4/5

Title/ Cover โ€“

The title speaks for itself its shows like people while traveling got stuck with some excess baggage issues. The cover is impressive and funny. It shows an old woman chasing another young woman in her thirties. Both the women carrying their luggage.

Storyline โ€“

The story is about a Sindhi daughter and her mother โ€“ Anviksha Punjabi and her mother Smita Punjabi. Our main protagonist Anviksha independent woman working in a company as an Anthropologist. She is good at reading people at the workplace unfortunately not good at making friends. She is thirty years old successful woman in her life except for her love life. She recently got divorced for the second time. She is gradually losing in her life which is affecting her career as well. Anviksha is frustrated with her life and repeatedly getting into trouble at work. Her boss recommends she take a vacation to calm herself down. Anviskha decided to take a break and planned a solo trip for herself to Europe. Smita forced herself on Anviksha to take her along on the trip, Anviksha left with no other options obliged as she knew she wonโ€™t able to stop her mother.

Conclusion โ€“

The story of โ€˜Excess Baggageโ€™ is an extraordinary, hilarious, and entertaining read with an interesting plot. The dynamic duo of mother and daughter is amazing, however completely opposites personality from each other. The soul-searching journey for Anviksha become a life-altering experience for both women. The instant made me laugh
