The Mind Game
Man is fond of counting his troubles, but he does not count his joys. If he counted them up he ought to, he would see that every happiness provided for it.
We are going to talk about ‘The Mind Game’ by Devika Das. This book I would recommend everyone read for their own benefit. This is not the usual storybook with romance, comedy, thrill, and suspense in it. I know most of us like to read books related to these genres. The reason I choose this book is numerous. The most important reason to read this book is to understand the functionality of emotions and cope up with them.
This talks about a lot of topics which will help all of us in the long run of our life. The Book consists of a total of six Sections and each six covering sub-topics in detail.
Section one covers the topic ‘Emotions’, the second covers the topic ‘Analyzing People’, the third one covers the topic ‘Live Better with Less, the fourth one covers the topic ‘Go Happy, Go Lucky!’, the fifth one covers the topic ‘Angry? Don’t Be!’, and the sixth one covers the topic ‘A Happy Workplace’.
"Any person capable of angering you becomes your master; He can anger you only when you permit yourself to be disturbed by him."
The book is well-crafted with a piece of valuable knowledge.
In our stressful life if have forgotten the true meaning of living our life. This book can help us to reconnect with our lives again.
Even though I had read numerous self-help books before but I find this slightly different from others. The way of narration is simple and easy to understand.
The author has also used a short story for a better understanding of the concept which makes it easier for us to understand.
